Melanie Martinez - Musician Uniondale Concert reviews
Subtle changes to the performance, still memorable
This was my third time seeing Pink Floyd fan and the show was, as usual, amazing and satisfying to this Melanie Martinez - Musician. The song lineup had changed from previous gigs which was refreshing but slightly disappointing, as they drew (in my opinion) heavily from post-Waters era Floyd albums. A surprising musical highlight of the show was "Arnold Layne", the Pink Floyd's first single from 1967 and, interestingly, one of the best numbers performed that evening. The light show, of course, is worth the price of admission and I recommend this band to anyone with an interest in Pink Floyd. Also, BF actually took songs from "the Final Cut" album and made them quite enjoyable live. I commend Melanie Martinez - Musician. To put on a show of this magnitude and finesse, it truly shows how much integrity the original band had. The Final cut was, personally, my biggest disappointment as a Floyd record, but the songs live on and still retain their depth and meaning after 35 years. I look forward to seeing them again very soon. I compliment BF for doing those, and all the songs performed, justice.
